In Knockadoon, we believe that each participant should be given every opportunity to learn new skills and develop existing ones. Therefore during the week we provide tutorials for each participant in their area of interest. These various tutorials include: Vocal/Cantor, Keyboard, Guitar, Violin, Flute, Percussion, Composition, Music Theory, Music Technology, Drama and Liturgy. Tutorials on offer vary and depend on demand and availability. Many past and present participants begun playing their instruments in Knockadoon. You never know, you might become the next big guitarist or pianist all because of Knockadoon.

Knockadoon Music and Liturgy Course Theme for 2014 has been released!
Good morning everyone, I hope the sun is making an appearance wherever you are
I’m delighted to announce that our theme for Knockadoon 2014 is:
‘Voices For Faith’
I hope it inspires a great week of music, prayer and fun.
Application forms will be heading your way soon!
First Knockadoon meeting of 2014 taking place tomorrow.
We will be busy discussing your feedback from last year and trying to fit in as many of your suggestions as possible. Hopefully by the end of the day there’ll be an exciting plan in place for August
If you (or someone you know) has an unused guitar or other instrument gathering dust instead of being played we in KAD would love to give it a home.
Help us to create a store of instruments for our course and we will make music in your honor.
All donations will be treated with love and gratitude,
Team 2012 continue their hard work! The music for this year has been chosen and Ian is busy turning it into a book. I look forward to singing with you all in August.
Don’t forget to invite people to our ‘on camp’ concert which takes place on Friday 17th, it’s always a night to remember!
