Discussion Paper 3 – follow on Team Challenges for social impact Objective of initiative To pilot a programme that would provide team challenges for businesses and public bodies. The challenges would be aimed at making positive social impact on local communities and or issues. Further discussion took place on the 2nd October by teleconference. Yvonne, Tricia, Elaine, Louise, Anne and Tina. Points arising and action arising · Louise spoke to follow up with Martin in Cares NI who is presently in USA. They would be willing to be involved in the pilot to see if there is a market here. Louise to continue the discussion. · Market research. Only 2 of 16 coordinators would use Team Challenges. · Timing 1st Feb launch · Louise to discuss SBP structure with Germaine. · Model is based on panel. Investment approx 4k and branding DCoy or Volunteer · Tricia and Yvonne to come back on Training and grants available from Funding Point · Tricia and Yvonne to survey community groups on their expectations · Discuss at board level with both organisations when model ready · We will discuss branding and names again. Yvonne to discuss with Volunteer Brand Manager and Tina to get quote from DCoy. · VAT issues to be examined · Tina/Yvonne to draft email to VCs and SBP staff looking for people to train and sit on panel for team challenges · Elaine to set up survey 1st week November and send reminder 2nd week. 17th November for outcomes. · Next meeting – Friday 24th October telephone conference – 9.15am.
