Let us pray that we will be true to the work that God wants us to do on earth and tat we will not be afraid to change in order that all forms of life will be respected
Let us pray for those who are hungry because we do not understand how to care for the earth and its many ecosystems. Help us to see the connection between our greed and their poverty. Help us to admit that our ignorance and arrogance have caused their suffering. Let us pray for scientists and inventors that they will hold onto wonder, awe and respect for nature and resist any temptations to manipulate it for their own profit or those they work for. Let us pray for the gift of praise so that we can give thanks and praise to our God who is the source of all life. |
